The two-stage grinding mechanism first effortlessly cracks and then grinds the peppercorns and salt to the desired coarseness
• PRECISION GRIND — Through two centuries of experience, we have expertly engineered each mill and mechanism specifically for the consistency and shape of peppercorns and salt crystals. Make sure to fill each one with the correct spice for optimum use. We make the gears at our French factory from stainless steel that is treated to prevent corrosion and rust

• READY TO SEASON — Our salt mills come with Cristaux de sel blanc d’Allemagne, a dry white rock salt from Germany, and our pepper mills with Tan Hoi black pepper from Vietnam (refill cubes are available from Peugeot). Fill with dry rock salt only (max size smaller than 1/6 inch/4mm) — do not use sea salt, and max size ¼-inch (6mm) peppercorns
